How verification works

Every block, the runtime publishes a state root.

The OrderCommitRegistry on Base anchors the off-chain matching engine to a Merkle root of trades, balances, and PnL. If the operator publishes a wrong root, anyone can submit a proof and force a rollback to the last honest state.

Withdrawals settle against published proofs.

Your wallet generates a Merkle proof of your balance under the latest state root and submits it to the vault. The vault releases USDC only if the proof verifies. There is no operator key that can withdraw your funds.

The treasury sits behind a 3-of-5 multi-sig.

Treasury spends — including team payments, insurance funding, and protocol upgrades — require three independent signers. No single key can drain the contract. Signers are listed below with their on-chain addresses.

Solvency is public, continuously.

At any block, anyone can sum the open positions, fetch the treasury balance, and verify that collateral ≥ obligations. There is no internal ledger, no off-chain "proof of reserves" — the chain is the proof.
